Your guide, Brian McCathren, is an 11 year resident of Alaska,
originally from the Pacific Northwest. He has years of experience fishing the Kenai River as well as throughout Alaska.
He is a full time fireman in Anchorage but spends his summer’s fishing and guiding, his heart-filled passion.
When not fishing or at his other professional career, Brian enjoys hunting, traveling in and out of Alaska, and spending
time with his 4 year old daughter, Emily. He is also an advisory council member to the Board of Fish and Game for the
state of Alaska.

but the experience that goes along with it. That is why I have decided to spend my summers sharing my passion for fishing
